For those of you who took me at my word last Friday morning when I said the site redesign would be up on monday, and did not tune in over the weekend -- welcome to the new Spookingtons! I will permit you a moment to ooh and ahh, in the designated oohing and ahhing areas.

For those who knew that I'm approximately as accurate a temporal forecaster as Criswell, and thus DID tune in over the weekend, you've seen this already. You might as well get used to it. Redesigns aint easy.

To be fair, parts of the redesigning process are fun. Unfortunately, they all occur in the very earliest stages of the job, after which it becomes a slog through tables and numbers and HTML and other affronts to God and His good works.

Redesigning a website is like moving to a new, better apartment, except it's on the fifth floor, and all of your possessions have magically transformed into heavy, antique sofas.

But, it's over now, at least the sweaty, struggling up four flights of stairs part. There's still a lot of work to do so far as conversion and testing, but I'll get to 'em when I get to 'em. In the meanwhile, drink in the glory of another more-or-less regularly-updated week.

Hopefully, the novelty hasn't worn off yet.
