Forgot to mention, yesterday -- I'm an uncle! Again! This actually occurred a couple weeks back, but as my updating has been sporadic, it kinda got shuffled to the side. No more, though! I now have a niece, courtesy of my brother Jason and his wife, Lorie. Lorie, as one might expect, has taken most of the credit for the birth, but I happen to know that Jason was right in there with her, shouting helpful advice such as, "Push!" and "C'mon, already!"

My new niece is named "Annabelle," and weighs in at six pounds, eight ounces, making her perfect for travel to work -- or play! As I observed with my nephew, Ryan, we Scotts create very, very cute babies. There are several people, I know, who hold the opinion that all babies are cute, but they're sadly mistaken -- there are some real trolls out there. Remember -- NOT reeling back from a crib in horror, retching and gagging, is EXACTLY the same as lying.

Annabelle's still in the phase of her life where she's basically asleep all the time, so there haven't been a lot of exciting stories to relate that don't involve feeding or, um... inverted feeding, if you catch my drift. Thankfully, she should outgrow this phase in a few months, and under normal circumstances, it wont return until her second semester of college.
