STATE OF THE
NORM
And I'm back.
There's something to be said for business as
usual -- aint as exciting as adventures in the great, wide world, but at
least you know what you're doing, more or less. And there's less chance of
being eaten by cannibals and forest predators.
Nine straight weeks of daily strips, that's
what we had at last count -- and if I may say so myself, way to go, me! Can
I beat myself? We'll see -- for tonight, smoke billows again from the cartoon
factory; the machines of Spookingtons run once more.
As a recap, the state of things stands thusly:
I am approximately at the halfway mark in the toning of the pages for issue
8. There should be considerable progress thereon this week, and I'll update
you when finished.
I added about ten more pages to my novel, "Arthur
Rowe: Pirate Accountant" this past week. There's still a little confusion
as to what order they go in, but that's an issue for another time.
Working on a redesign for the Spookingtons
main page -- no drastic content changes, but it should end up looking
ever-so-slightly less 1998-ish.
My more-secret projects stand basically where
they were before I left. The desolate countryside isn't necessarily a great
breeding grounds for innovation. Nor is winter in general, for that matter
-- but that's another post.
Anyways, everything's running as it should,
for the moment. I'll keep you posted.
