PSYCHOLOGICAL
CONDITIONING
It turns out that I did not watch "Eragon"
last night, after all. We had to take off rather early, thus making our most
significant contribution to the party the part, beforehand, where I set up
my aunt's 3-in-1printer for her. I can only hope that my cousin experiences
significant joy in all of the acts of scanning, printing and copying -- with
or without collation -- to follow.
Today, we will supposedly have some repairguys
showing up to take a look at our air conditioning unit. These, it turns out,
are different repairguys from the ones who were technically responsible
for our air-conditioning unit's downfall. The last guys who came in were
attempting to install a new furnace, and they succeeded, but had to sacrifice
the AC's functionality due to some mysterious electrical oddity that I am
told had to do with the furnace fan. It sounded fishy to me, honestly, but,
having no training in furnace repair myself, I was at the mercy of their
credentials.
Also, they had power tools.
So, we've been advised to expect repairguys
sometime today, between the hours of 'morning' and 'evening,' possibly. At
least they're honest. So I'm on high alert, listening for the door, and that's
probably how I'll remain for the rest of the day. To that end, I wish you
well, dear readers, and I'll catch you tomorrow.
