RETURN OF THE
THING
A little over a month later, Spookingtons slowly
and sporadically returns. I suppose it would have been more prudent to tell
you the reasons for the hiatus BEFORE it occurred, but, well, I figured you
guys would appreciate the occasional surprise. Anyways, the reason things
have been quiet is because I've spent the last month and change in the process
of moving, which is, for the record, every bit as tiring as it
sounds.
But we're back, now, more or less (possibly
edging towards the 'less' side till site operations return to speed), and
it is with great pride and no small amount of relief that I now present to
you the penultimate strip in the saga that has been "The Mummy's Tooth."
The final one will be posted this friday-ish, as I struggle through the
psychological molasses back to regular productivity.
It may be of note to those of you who track
such things -- assuming I haven't mentioned it elsewhere -- that "The Mummy's
Tooth," page for page, is now longer than any single issue of the regular
H&C comic book. You impressed, you freeloaders?
Following the end of this particular web-saga,
we'll be breaking from Hsu and Chan here shortly, but despair not, for the
next series coming up will feature reader-favorite and otherwise poor role
model Violence Man, in a charming little adventure entitled, "Scarred Straight."
And that's it for now! Come back around the
end of the week for the exciting conclusion, and stay thereafter for everything
else. I'm Norm Scott, and I'm still breathing.
