THE WIRE, WHICH WE ARE DOWN
TO
This is it, younguns! Last day of bidding on
my first Ebay original
art auction! Can you LIVE without these pieces of bristol paper which
I have marked upon using, amongst other things, pencil and a Sharpie? Clearly
not, so snipe if you can!
We've hit just about the halfway mark on toning
pages for issue 8 -- once that's outta the way, all that stands between you
and the next issue is a cover and, well, 3 months of comic shop solicitations.
I'll keep you posted.
I started working, tonight, on another first
for myself -- I'm gonna be adding some art tutorials to this site, for those
of you who wish that your art, not to put it indelicately, looked a little
more like mine. They will be called, "So You Want To Draw Like Norm," and
subtitled, "What's Wrong With You?"
I don't know how well I'll be able to convey
information in an educational sense, having never really tried it before,
but I've always figured I'd be pretty good at it, due to my twin qualities
of arrogance and natural smarminess. Condescending to a room full of students,
patronizing their every question -- man, that's the life.
Anyways, art tutorials, such as they are. If
nothing else, it'll be worth it to get all my thoughts on art down in print
if only to see how many times I contradict myself over the course of a few
tutorials (plenty, I'll bet!)
But enough for now -- remember, Ebay auctions!
Bid like you've never bid before!
